We had a great value for our money, with a spacious and comfortable room. The location offered stunning views and the staff treated us with warmth and friendliness throughout our stay.
The breakfast option could have been improved with more variety and a better coffee selection.

Location close to Stellenbosh
Not Safe, falling apart!! "Zorgvliet completely fail to meet the expectations created by themselves." We visited Zorgvliet with 3 couples and one 4 year old. We experienced No friendly welcome, no assistance with the suitcases (it was raining, so any service would have been welcome crossing the muddy garden that had no paved paths to rooms..) It was not possible to have anything to eat. everything was closed? (17.00) “because nobody was there?” So, first night kitchen closed without notice .. After a long journey, that’s not a nice welcome) (every restaurant in the area was full, so our first night with a young hungry child was great, thanks Zorgvliet. No excuses offered. There was no extra bed on our room for our 4 year old. But this was, despite their "policy" solved. (Children under 12 allowed in the room, but there is no bed?) “Rooms are according to the hotel’s policy actually too small for an extra bed. Pool dirty, smelly and full of chlorine .. strange bubbles? Thin white layer of chlorine covered the pool. Somebody of the staff threw half a bucket of chlorine in the pool, a chlorine-dust cloud blew over children playing next to the pool! No apologies, and no warning of maintenance was offered before or after this, nothing! Someone from the staff agreed with us, that she would not want to swim in this pool.. Spilled Chlorine was present around the pool, outright dangerous! Sharp pieces of Tiles and broken Paving stones was all over , (really sharp and very dangerous) We had a leaking toilet, and after repeated complaints it was not fixed! Toilet is still leaking I think .. (However, they claimed that it had been looked after by an engineer .. yeah right) Our friends toilet was clogged, they reported it in the morning and by the evening (22.00) after considerable urging the problem was finally solved .. but they also ended up with a leaking toilet... No toilet brushes made this complete .. nice!

Beautiful wine estate with stunning mountain views. The on-site restaurant serves delicious food, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway surrounded by natural beauty. Even though it is not within walking distance of other amenities, it offers a perfect setting for exploring the winelands.

Tastefully furnished , wonderful linen.
The Family Suites are too close to the main road and the trucks and cars can be heard all through the night , the Main Bedroom in the Family "Cottage" is way too bright in the early morning as there is too much of glass and skylights that cannot be closed off. The Family Cottage is actually an upstairs unit with a small steep staircase with reception diectly below , there is an external door which opens onto a large patio and garden area which unfortunately looks straight onto the busy main road. The units are extremely cold and the airconditioners need to be kept on all night.I will not stay here gain due to lack of sleep and the Family Cottage not being child friendly.

The staff was beyond incredible, welcoming and friendly. They let me check in early with a big smile. The room was mind-blowing, with a simple yet modern decor that I fell in love with instantly. I wish I could have stayed there forever! The surroundings were jaw-droppingly beautiful, making me want to take a deep breath and let go of all my troubles. The tranquil and serene nature of this place was exactly what I needed. The picnic area and the restaurant were super cool, the girls working there were so friendly and helpful. The whole setting between the vineyards and the mountain slopes was absolutely stunning and romantic. The breakfast and bobotie were delicious and satisfying. I can't forget to mention the giant chess, it was so much fun! The pool was lovely, and the family suite had a fabulous view and was incredibly comfortable. It was all just so perfect. I'm definitely coming back in the summer season for some leisurely enjoyment.

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The accommodation itself was tastefully decorated and the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The service at the hotel was lacking, especially after 5pm when there seemed to be no staff available. There were some maintenance issues in the room, such as a grubby looking concrete floor and doors and windows that were not well fitted, resulting in bugs entering.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with picturesque scenery and vineyards stretching out for miles. The room itself was beautifully tidy and well-maintained, with all the necessary comforts for a relaxing stay. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the nearby wineries, and we were able to easily visit multiple vineyards within a short drive. One additional advantage was the friendly and helpful staff, who went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant experience.
Although our overall stay was enjoyable, we did have a couple of minor issues. the curtains in our room could have used a good wash, as they looked a bit dusty.
